Reports to: Senior Manager, Commercial Lines
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated individual to oversee the daily administration and supervision of the commercial lines support team. The successful candidate will coach and mentor performance management of direct reports, assist with file reviews, manage monthly reports, conduct department meetings as well as work closely with the Senior Manager and Commercial Trainer on department initiatives and projects. This individual will require a balance of leadership capabilities, customer service, communication and technical skills.
Minimum of 5 years commercial insurance experience
Previous experience managing people
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
Strong leader with the demonstrated ability to execute on important initiatives and consistently meet or exceed performance expectations
Self-starter with ability to multi-task and adjust priorities regularly
Computer skills required – TAM, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
CAIB or CIP designation (or working towards designation) would be an asset
RIBO License is required or ability to obtain RIBO.
