Job Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for the reporting of Home, Auto, Commercial and Marine claims by email, fax or conference call. This individual will provide an explanation of coverage and the claims process to customers, including the role of the adjuster and all other parties involved in the settlement. He/she will have regular contact with the customer to ensure satisfaction and follow up with adjusters as required. The individual will be responsible for assisting in a smooth claims process for all parties involved.
RIBO License is required or ability to obtain
A minimum of two years’ experience in Personal and/or Commercial Lines, preferably with a strong claims background
Customer-centric, friendly and professional at all times
Strong Written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional organization skills with an ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
CAIB or CIP designation (or working towards) would be an asset.
