Investment Assistant

Job Summary:      

  • The incumbent will be responsible for Branch trade input and administration duties for financial advisors including:
  • Preparing files and forms for client meetings
  • Processing all trades subsequent to client meetings, efficiently, accurately and on time
  • Inputting and maintaining data in Client Relationship Management syste, 
  • Follow up calls and maintenance of advisor calendar
  • Assist and support advisor to effectively manage each account
  • Build relationship with clients
  • Support and backup for other Investment Administrators
  • Advise advisors of any business opportunities

Qualifications:     

  • University/college degree preferred or related experience in Financial Services Industry (minimum 2-3 years)
  • Mutual Fund Licence, or willing to obtain
  • Comprehensive knowledge of investment products
  • Computer proficiency in Word, Excel and CRM/Outlook
  • Complete and on-time delivery of services
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical ability and judgment
  • Strong organizational, time management, accuracy and prioritizing skills
