Pension Consultant (Brantford or Cambridge)

Job Summary: The successful candidate will be an integral member of our Pension and Retirement Consulting team. The incumbent will be responsible for servicing, retaining and growing a book of our Pension and Retirement clients and for providing mentoring and back-up to other members of the team. Responsibilities include managing the overall retirement plan governance process (e.g. annual plan review process, marketing, providing expertise on industry trends, plan design and investment menu considerations, employee communications).  The incumbent will also participate in strategic initiatives and projects, internal and external media development, seminars and research, best practice reviews and new business initiatives.

Qualifications:            

  • Pension and retirement industry and consulting experience
  •  Highly developed communication and presentation skills
  • Life licensed, or the ability to obtain
  •  RPA (CEBS) designation an asset
  • Valid driver’s license and car is required
  •  University degree or college diploma
  • Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
  •  Highly developed customer service skills
