Job Summary:           

The successful candidate is responsible for optimizing our disability management practice by identifying opportunities and creating and building strategic plans to support. The incumbent will also coach case managers on disability and absences best practices in order to continue to be innovative and proactive including:

  • Team coaching and ongoing learning development;
  • Policy and procedure development between both disability departments;
  • Research and resolve complex claims problems with insurance carriers;
  • Policy and procedure development between both disability departments;
  • Policy and procedure development between both disability departments;
  • Develop education sessions to continue staff development;
  • Develop orientation tools (video, guides, booklets etc.);
  • Establish business staples (standard letters, questionnaires);
  • Cross training for the teams to understand the other lines of business;
  • Assist with sales implementation, development of products;
  • Develop billing tools;
  • Program development for lines of business;
  • Quality assurance through audits and employee development;
  • Presenting to clients education sessions;
  • Assisting senior leadership with overall strategic plan for business.


  • Bachelor of Science. Kinesiology, Sports Therapy, Psychology or other health related fields;
  • Disability experience in pro-active functional management of claims;
  • Presentation skills;
  • Client facing experience;
  • Training and coaching abilities.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM;
  • Able to build online training;
  • Proficient in written/spoken official languages.
