Data Entry Clerk

Job Summary:            

The Administrative Services department is responsible for the maintenance of coverage information pertaining to members’ files. The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for the timely and accurate input of information e.g. name, date of birth, address, salary, dependants, beneficiaries, coverage type and more into Cowan’s administration systems. Daily tasks include but are not limited to updating and managing our data base system, filing, photocopying, preparing enrolment kits and printing certificates of insurance. He/She will also have the responsibility of supporting the Administrative Services Agents in various clerical tasks such as preparing correspondence and confidential documents. The data input is vital to the operation of all other areas of Third Party Administration. This position will require the employee to work a 9:00am to 5:00pm schedule.

Qualifications:            

  • Ability to learn different technological systems;
  • Precision and speed in data entry;
  • Bilingual (French/English);                               
  • Flexible and resourceful;
  • Capacity to respect work deadlines;
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently;                    
  • Detail oriented & organized;
  • Knowledge in Windows, MS Office, e-mail and internet would be an asset.
