Bilingual Client Service Representative

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will work closely with clients, their employees, carriers and internal departments in the delivery of client support for Return to Health including:

  • Client service relating to Return to Health client disability programs;
  • Call center intake coordination for Leave of Absence program administration;
  • Involvement in administration of claims documentation and record maintenance on the COLO system;
  • Effective ongoing communication with consultants and clients;
  • Working closely with Group Life and Health consultants/Client Service Representatives and Analysts to determine the best way to resolve issues, problems or concerns;
  • Responding to inquiries from clients, employees, medical community and other stake holders;
  • Preparation of reports;
  • Co-ordinate special projects for clients as identified;
  • Assist with implementation of new clients;
  • Attend client meetings as required;
  • Collaborate with Information Technology Team on COLO system upgrades and system testing;
  • Providing process improvement reviews and suggestions for process upgrade considerations;
  • Coordination of 3rd party requests;
  • Provide administrative support to Case Managers, Disability Solutions Manager and Director.


  • 3-5 years’ experience in a fast paced Disability Claims Management role;
  • University Degree/College Diploma;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Excellent keyboarding skills;
  • Experience administrating Employee Benefits and Disability plans;
  • Previous client service experience, ideally with claims resolution;
  • Working knowledge of Short and Long Term Disability Policies and Procedures for Disability Claims Management and record keeping;
  • Human Resources Management principles with respect to Employment Standards, Human Rights and Collective Bargaining Agreements;
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM;
  • Proficient in written/spoken French.
